Soothing guitar riffs and dynamic melodies are suspended in lofty weightlessness, combined with detailed arrangements of crisp drums and signature textures; crafting sounds so real and immersive, it’s like reading a story book. Jim Spendlove is an illustrator based in the UK. His work is heavily informed by line work, coupled with muted tones and grainy overlays to create relaxing scenes. The often open narrative of the illustration leaves the story open for interpretation by the viewer.
